Happy Saturday! And also the first day of February! Can you believe we are already walking into February? Where has time gone? Probably flown by when reading posts like this, huh?
Seriously though, I look forward to connecting with all of you weekly and really do wish we could have these glimpses face to face. Perhaps, it's the Valentine Day chocolates I'm consuming but I am fully reminded of our school's love for our students. Yes, our students will exchange valentines with their classmates and load up on candy, but knowing the many reasons our school loves them and YOU (our families), provides comfort and security that a box of conversation hearts never could.
Our families become a family at Grace.
In fact, we spend lots of time together outside the regular school hours.
Just last night, was a Family Fun Night and Chili Cook off!
And tonight the fun continues at a Taste for Grace.
Our basketball Vikings and their families were at the basketball tournament. Our third and fourth graders are young but don't let that fool you, this team is fierce. They persevere and get it done, all while having the most fun!
Over the week, our Girls Scouts earned their Engineering Badge. The girls worked with recycled materials to protect their egg. Eggcellent job!
Each semester our GPO puts together enrichment classes for your student to participate in. These ladies are well equipped at our industrial arts class.
Ninja Training is another class offered this semester. These students are being challenged in agility, stamina, and team building!
There are so many opportunities to connect, collaborate and celebrate at Grace beyond our school hours.
Wishing you a beautiful weekend.
