When should I plan to enroll my child?
- We begin accepting applications one year prior to the start of the school year in which the new student will be enrolled. It is best to complete the application process as early as possible to ensure you are eligible for enrollment before enrollment is opened to the community.
- We begin re-enrollment for our current families in January, admitting our applicants in February, then new students in March. We continue accepting applications through the summer, as class sizes permit.

The first step is to complete our inquiry form online, or contact our school office at (708) 366-6900. We will answer your questions, and walk you through the application and enrollment process.
Attend An Admissions Event
We want you to see the many things our school has to offer. We are now offering school tours by appointment, and also have a Virtual Open House available in case you prefer an online option.

After my tour what comes next?
We will provide an application packet and answer any questions. Once the admission packet and fees are returned the enrollment process begins!

Interviews come next!
Every family applying for admission will meet with the school principal, Bill Koehne. Interviews offer parents and the principal the opportunity to ask questions and to determine if Grace Lutheran School is the best fit for the student and family.
Admission decisions are made:
You’ll be notified in writing of admission to Grace Lutheran School.
- Siblings of current students and members of Grace Lutheran Church will be notified by the end of February.
- Other applicants will be notified of admission beginning in March.
