Adult Education

Check the church calendar for current adult education class information.

Adult education classes convene every Sunday at Grace at 9:50 a.m., between worship services. On most Sundays,  two or more classes from which to choose are offered, and many classes are part of longer three-to-four-week series.

Classes are taught by scholars and other experts from the Chicago area and by Grace members with personal or professional expertise in a given field. Topics allow class participants to explore and discuss issues in biblical scholarship, theology, spiritual growth, social justice, and culture and Christianity. Coffee and lively conversation are a vital part of the experience!

An ongoing Sunday morning Bible study group also meets during the adult education hour. Participants study individual books of the Bible chapter by chapter, discussing the text's original meaning and what it says to Christians today. CAFÉ, an informal adult discussion group that coordinates with the Sunday School schedule, meets at 10:00 a.m.

Please check the Calendar for more information. Choose a Sunday and cllick on Adult Education for information on that day's topics. Class information can also be found on brightly colored signs posted at Grace's reception desk each Sunday morning.
