Baptism Festival this Sunday

Grace Church’s Youth and Family Ministry celebrates a special Baptism Festival on Sunday. Children from preschool through fifth grade and their parents are invited to a Family Sunday at 9:45 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. There will be songs, stories, crafts and special activities. All those baptized in 2013 will be recognized and celebrated at both worship services. Everyone is invited to a sandwich and chili lunch in Fellowship Hall after the 11:00 service.

Adult Education on Sunday

The Bible study group meets this Sunday morning in the conference room to discuss Ephesians, led by Bob Jandeska.

Two videos this week, followed by discussion: "Humility in the Time of 'Me'" with David Brooks, New York Times columnist, and "Beyond Vanity: How Does the Gospel Impact Personal Image-Making?" about the cost of denying the reality of personal limits in a vain pursuit of perfection, with Tim Chaddick, the founding pastor of Reality LA.

Congregation meeting on January 19

There is a regular meeting of the congregation on Sunday, Jan. 19, at 12:15 p.m. (after the 11:00 worship service). The agenda for the meeting is here. The slate of candidates for elected positions will be available on the Grace web site next week.
