Grace's new online communications platform The City offers members an easy way to receive news from Grace and communicate with one another. Many Grace organizations and committees are already using the City to organize their activities. Within a few weeks members will also be able to view their personal giving record and make online donations through the CityPay web site. The City is a private, secure network. Your information is not shared with marketers or advertisers.
Next week Grace members who are not yet City users will receive a personalized email invitation to create a City account. To learn more about the City, come to the Adult Ed session on Sunday at 9:45 a.m. Laptops, tablets and smartphones are welcome for hands-on help with setting up your account.
Business clothing drive ends on Sunday
The Social Ministry Committee is collecting professional clothing to donate to the Safer Foundaton, which works with former prison inmates, helping them to become employed, law-abiding members of the community. Donations may be brought to the coat closet in the atrium through Sunday. Needed: ties, men's and women's suits, dress shirts and blouses, pants, skirts and dresses. Items should be clean, gently used and hung on hangers.
Directory photos have arrived at Grace. If you chose to have your directory portrait sent to church rather than shipped individually to your home, please stop by the table in the atrium and pick up your photo.
