In gratitude, bring your Faith Promise to the altar this Sunday
This Sunday we bring our Faith Promises of time, talent, and money to the altar during worship. A Faith Promise is an opportunity to respond to God’s overwhelming goodness to us. God gladly receives our Faith Promises, blesses them, and uses them to enlist us in what God is doing in and through this congregation.
Grace members received a letter from the pastors and a Faith Promise pledge card in the mail in mid-March. Please return the Grace in Action card, which focuses on gifts of time and talent, as well as the Faith Promise financial pledge.
Additional cards will be available from the ushers on Sunday morning. Faith Promise and Grace in Action cards may also be returned by mail, or you may place them in the offering plate on another Sunday.
The Grace Church and School community is invited to join Pastor Emeritus Dean Lueking, his wife, Beverly, and their children and grandchildren in giving thanks to God in a celebration of the 60th anniversary of his ordination this Sunday afternoon, April 6, at 4 p.m. in Grace’s sanctuary. The program includes music, hymn-singing, and a concluding word from Dean’s lifelong friend Martin Marty. A reception follows in Fellowship Hall.
