Adult Ed on Sunday
Stories of Faith: “Young Goodman Brown,” by Nathaniel Hawthorne
Innocence, corruptibility, and redemption entwine in this 1835 story by the author of The Scarlet Letter, a classic of American literature. Jeff Wood leads our discussion. Prepare to contribute by reading the story before class. Photocopies are available at the church reception desk. It's also available online. If you haven’t had a chance to read the story, come anyway!
Here's a bibliography of materials in the Grace Church Library to go with the Faith Stories series.
Sunday Morning Bible Study
The group continues its study of the Book of Daniel. Bob Jandeska leads the class, which meets weekly in the conference room at the foot of the atrium stairs.
The Volunteers Committee will again be at a table in the atrium between services. Fill out a simple survey that will help the committee match willing helpers with groups, committees and activities at Grace. Or download the survey and return it to Grace at any time.
Grace’s three handbell choirs will present a concert next Thursday evening, May 16, 7:00 p.m., in the sanctuary. Join the Grace School, youth, and adult ringers for an hour of music, directed by Lisa Wolfanger.
