Bach Cantata on Sunday

The last Bach Vespers service of the 2015-16 season celebrates Trinity Sunday with Praised be the Lord, my God, BWV 129. The instrumental prelude at 3:45 is Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5. Following the service there’s a “FUNdraiser” and reception in Fellowship Hall, with entertainment from Grace musicians. Donations at the reception will pay for the performance stipends of orchestral musicians who will be accompanying the choir’s third performance in Leipzig’s Thomaskirche in July.

Generous and faithful gifts support God's work at Grace

Please return it in the offering plate by Sunday, May 29.

Church contributions in May and June. Contributions from church members and from school families have been up this year, and we have the opportunity to finish out our budget year without a deficit. Can you give an extra gift to Grace before June 30? God has blessed us abundantly--may we use these gifts responsibly, so that God's work may flourish here at Grace!

May Food Drive continues on Sunday and at Grace School Walkathon next Wednesday

Help stock local food pantries for the summer months by contributing to Social Ministry’s May food drive. Bring your non-perishable food donations to the atrium this Sunday. Grace School students will also be collecting food donations from River Forest residents as part of their annual Walk for Grace on Wednesday, May 25.
