IMG_5290.jpgThank you!

Thank you to the many volunteers involved in a busy summer week at Grace: rummage sale workers, VBS helpers, meal-servers for Confirmation Intensive, and everyone else--ushers, counters, worship assistants, and more--who help on Sundays, and from Monday through Friday as well. (See more photos from the week on Grace Church's Facebook page.)

Grace_Stewardship_HEART.jpegJune giving

Our congregation’s fiscal year ends on June 30, and we are working to close the gap between contributions needed and contributions received. If you are able, please consider an additional financial gift during the month of June, above and beyond your pledge, above your previous year's giving.  A Grace member has generously offered to match all these additional year-end gifts up to $20,000. This is a great opportunity for your year-end gift to have a larger impact on Grace Church as we strive to end our fiscal year with a balanced budget. Each gift, no matter the size, helps our ministry flourish. Prayerfully seek the Spirit’s wisdom, and give generously in the weeks ahead!

Thank you for your continued support of God’s work at Grace.

Sign the parking petition this Sunday

The Board of Elders, led by Al Swanson, is asking the village of River Forest to create additional handicapped parking along Bonnie Brae on Sunday mornings from 8 a.m. to noon. The handicapped parking restriction would apply to the west side of Bonnie Brae, between the church doors and the doors to the atrium. Al will be in the atrium on June 18 and 25 with a petition for Grace members to sign in support of this request. You do not have to be a River Forest resident to sign the petition.

Providing additional handicapped parking on Bonnie Brae will allow people who are disabled to more easily access the front entrance of the church and Sunday morning activities in the atrium. Please support this effort!

OnlineGivingButton.gifMoving recurring donations from The City to Online Giving

On June 30, Grace will be discontinuing its subscription to The City. At that time the CityPay giving feature will be deactivated, and automatic donations scheduled through The City for
July 1, 2017, and beyond will not be processed. To continue making automatic donations to Grace from your savings or checking account or via debit/credit card, you will need to set up a gift at our Online Giving page. In addition, you may wish to delete your financial account information at The City. If you need assistance, please contact Jim McClanahan in Grace's business office (jmcclanahan@graceriverforest.org; 708-771-1440).
