The 40 students who attended Vacation Bible School at Grace last week created four blankets for Project Linus, assisted by senior volunteers Betty Moore and Ellyn Levell. We'll pray for the recipients of these blankets on Sunday, children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need.

A conversation about the pastoral transition 

Retiring Senior Pastor Bruce Modahl and Congregation President Jeff Wood will host an Adult Ed session next Sunday, July 13, at 9:45 a.m., about the upcoming pastoral transition process here at Grace. Jeff will provide an update on transition plans, and Pastor Modahl will share some thoughts about the future of Grace. This will be an informal conversation, with ample time to ask questions and share concerns and ideas.

Have you completed the Health Cabinet Survey?

Click here  to fill out the Health and Wellness Ministry's Needs Assessment survey. It takes about 15 minutes to complete. Parish Nurse Kim Ramos and the Health Cabinet are seeking information about the health needs and interests of congregation members so they can plan programs to meet these needs. Paper copies of the survey are available at the reception desk.

Grace volunteers will be packing meals for malnourished children around the world at the Feed My Starving Children facility in Libertyville on Saturday, July 12, from 9 to 11 a.m. Children and adults are invited to work together. Read more. 

Adult chaperones needed for youth mission trip, July 28-August 3

Grace youth are headed for Kansas City at the end of July to work at two urban mission sites. The group needs one female and one male chaperone for the trip. Contact Logan Kruck for details.
