The week-long Bach Cantata Camp begins on Sunday afternoon at Grace. You are invited to join the students for Morning Prayer at 8:30 a.m.. Monday through Friday, and for the service of Compline at 9:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Camp concludes with a Bach Cantata Vespers service on Friday evening, July 26, at 7:15 p.m. Come and hear Cantata #78, Jesu der du Meine Seele, performed by the students with soloists Maura Cock, Karen Brunssen, Christopher Cock, and Douglas Anderson. Pastor Bob Burke is the homilist.

"Humph!" says Sour Kangaroo (Concordia student Dominique King.) Imagination, mayhem, and musical fun are on display in Tuesday's Child's production of "Seussical," which opens tomorrow night, July 19, at 7:30 p.m.

The cast includes kids and adults of all ages, including Kevin Bry (Fagin in 2011's "Oliver!") as Horton the Elephant and Grace School grad Natalie Johnson as the Cat in the Hat. The performance space at Walther Lutheran High School is air-conditioned. Tickets are available at the door (adults; $12, students and seniors; $10 children under 12, $10) or reserve tickets online.
