Sunday School and Confirmation start next week!
The Sunday School year begins next Sunday, Sept. 8, with a Rally Day pancake breakfast. Parents and children in grades 3-8 are invited to Fellowship Hall at 9:45 a.m. for worship, music, fun and food.
Don’t miss the chance to share your talents and your faith by volunteering as a Sunday School teacher or shepherd. Stop by the Sunday School table in the atrium between services this Sunday. Meet Julie Modrich, our new Children's Ministry Coordinator, and learn more about volunteering for a four- or five-week rotation.

Art and Appetite: American Painting, Culture, and Cuisine
, presented by Rhea Sprecher. A preview of an exhibit opening at Chicago's Art Institute in November that examines the many meanings and interpretations of eating in America through paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts.
The Sunday morning Bible study group meets in the conference room. Richard Stasack leads the group in a study of the Gospel of Mark.
Choirs for children and teens are back in session
Grace’s choirs for children and teens begin rehearsals this week, under the direction of Gwen Gotsch. The Joyful Voices choir, for singers in grades 3–6, meets from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays in the choir room. Singers in kindergarten through 2nd grade are invited to sing with Joyful Voices Junior, rehearsing on Wednesdays from 5:15–5:45 p.m. in the choir room.

Youth Choir meets this Sunday, Sept. 1, after late church, in the choir room. Singers of all ranges and abilities in grades 7-12 lead worship by singing with Youth Choir. Come for lunch at 12:15 p.m. Rehearsal ends at 1:30.
