Sunday is Rally Day for Sunday School and Confirmation classes

The Sunday School and Confirmation year begins this Sunday, Sept. 8, with a Rally Day pancake breakfast. Parents and children in age 3 through 8th grade are invited to Fellowship Hall at 9:45 a.m. for worship, music, fun and food. Julie Modrich, our new Children's Ministry Coordinator, will be installed during the morning worship services.

New Adult Ed classes begin on Sunday

Baptism and Lord's Supper: A Not So Small Catechism. 
 The sacraments of baptism and the Lord’s Supper are central to our faith. Mark Bangert, Professor Emeritus, Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, will discuss their origins in Scripture and their place in Christian worship. This is the first of three sessions.

This Christian Life
. This discussion series will explore the many ways in which we may reflect God’s love in contemporary work and life. Each session will begin with a video from a leading thinker, author or policy maker. The Sunday morning Bible study group meets in the conference room. Richard Stasack leads the group in a study of the Gospel of Mark.

Congregation meeting

There will be a regular meeting of the congregation on Sunday, September 15, following the 11:00 a.m. service. The meeting begins at 12:15 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. The agenda includes a financial report and reports from Grace School, youth and family ministry, and the Save the Tower campaign committee.  Download the agenda.
