Creative worship this Saturday: "Confessing our brokenness, being bound in grace"

Come to a special worship service this Saturday at 5:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall, the first in a series of Saturday evening services in which Grace youth are exploring what it means to worship, using art, music, stories, and food. The focus this month is on confession. The evening ends with a potluck dinner, so please bring something to share. The next Creative Worship service takes place on Saturday, Nov. 9. 

Reel Talk shows Bonhoeffer film on Friday, 6:30 p.m.


Reel Talk’s film for October is a documentary on the wartime bravery and tragic end of Lutheran theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer (1906–1945). The film will be shown in the church library tomorrow evening, October 11. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. The film starts at 6:30. Discussion and comments from Pastor Modahl follow the film.

Social Ministry book drive


Sunday is the last day to bring new and gently used books to the bin in the atrium. Books are being donated to local hospitals and schools.

Mark your calendar for one 10:00 a.m. worship service on October 27

We joint together for worship on Sunday, October 27, as we launch our Save the Tower Campaign at a single 10:00 a.m. worship service. Everyone is invited to lunch in the gym following the service. Sunday School meets at 9:00 a.m. on October 27, and there are no Adult Education classes that morning. Read more about the Save the Tower Campaign.
