Stephen_Ministry.JPGWill you share God's love as a Stephen Minister?

Stephen Ministers share the warmth of God’s love with those who are hurting: the lonely, the depressed, the grieving. To find out more about how you can be involved in this this one-to-one caregiving ministry, come to the informational luncheon meeting after the late service this Sunday, October 28. A new training class begins in January. Contact Judie McDonnell (708-771-7328) or Merrily Smith (630-530-4284) for more information.

red_leaf.jpgJoyful Harvest Fall Market

Make plans now to attend the Joyful Harvest Fall Market, next Friday and Sunday, Nov. 2 and 4. You can shop at the market, enjoy a great meal and take home meats, cheeses, soups, sauces and bakery treats for quick meals during the week.

The Friday dinner menu: pork with cider gravy, buttered noodles, braised cabbage with bacon, greens with vinaigrette, and choice of apple or cherry crisp. At Sunday brunch you'll enjoy ham off the bone, baked French toast with caramel topping, quiche, egg casserole, and fresh fruit.

You can purchase tickets for meals at next week's Joyful Harvest Fall Market on Sunday morning in the atrium. Advance tickets will also be available at the reception desk, Monday through Thursday, and online through noon on Thursday.

Volunteers are still needed to work at the sale, especially for kitchen and clean-up chores on both Friday evening and Sunday afternoon. Many hands make light work! Contact co-chair Julie Christopher (jac1-2-3@hotmail.com).
