Giving thanks is the focus of the Bach Cantata Vespers service this Sunday

The Bach Cantata Vespers service on Sunday, Nov. 24, features Cantata #17, Whoever offers thanks praises me. It's a great start to Thanksgiving week! The preservice music, a concerto for oboe d'amore, starts at 3:45 p.m. Grace School alum Rebecca Schalk Nagel is the oboist. Read more.

Christmas gifts for those in need

The Christmas Giving Tree is up in the church's atrium and decorated with opportunities to give gifts to children, seniors and young mothers. Please take a tag and return your gift, with the tag attached, by Dec. 8 to the bin in the atrium. Gifts for Bethel New Life, New Moms, and Uptown should not be wrapped. Gifts for Circle Family Healthcare Network should be wrapped.

If you have not attended a cottage meeting, you will soon receive a packet in the mail with more information about the Save the Tower campaign. The Campaign Committee, along with the pastors and the congregational leadership, hope to see a high level of participation in the campaign from Grace Church members, a sign that we as a congregation are committed to our mission in this place.
