New Year's Worship
New Year's Eve, Dec. 31, Holy Communion at 7;30 p.m.
New Year's Day, Jan. 1, Morning Prayer at 10:00 a.m.
What are you thankful for as the end of 2013 approaches? Reflecting on God’s presence in our lives in the past helps make us aware of God’s presence today, and it gives us confidence in God’s promise to be present tomorrow.
As we celebrate the miracle of “God with us” this Christmas, the Stewardship Committee invites you to make an end-of-the-year Thankoffering in support of the ministries at Grace Church and School that help us recognize God’s work in our lives throughout the year.
You may use the special Thankoffering envelope that you received in the mail. If you write a check, please add the word “Thankoffering” on the memo line. To give online, type the word “Thankoffering” in the “Other” option on the web form.
End-of-the-tax-year giving information
To be credited to the 2013 tax year, gifts must be received in the business office (or the offering plate) on or before December 31. Checks mailed to Grace must be postmarked by Dec. 31. Direct online bank transfers must be made by 3 p.m. on Dec. 30. Credit card donations must be made online by 3 p.m. on Dec. 31.
Given the strength of the stock market this year, gifts of stock may help to minimize your tax liability. Shares must be transferred by the close of the day on Dec. 31 to be credited to the 2013 tax year.
Thank you for your support of mission and ministry here at Grace Church and School.
