Come to worship on Epiphany

We will gather for a service of Holy Communion at Grace Church on Epiphany, Friday, January 6, at 7pm. The word Epiphany means “showing forth,” and it names the day that the church tells Matthew’s story of the magi from foreign lands who follow the light of the star and thus “see” Jesus as Christ. Their gifts are symbols: gold, because they honor Jesus as the king; frankincense, because they worship Jesus as divine; and myrrh, because they are readying Jesus for his death.

Mitten tree

The Social Ministry Committee is asking for donations of warm mittens, gloves, hats and scarves in all sizes. Bring these to the tree in the atrium through January 8.

Building hours
Grace will be closed on Monday, Jan. 2, in observation of the New Year's holiday. The building is open 8:30am–3:30pm on weekdays through January 6, with evening hours as needed for scheduled acitivities. Regular building hours resume on Jan. 9 when Grace School is back in session.
