GEwebGraphic_2015.jpgSupport Grace School and enjoy a great night out at A Graceful Evening

The annual dinner-auction benefit for Grace School is a lot of fun—a great evening out and a chance to socialize with Grace friends, old and new. There's a terrific line-up of auction items this year, including time at vacation homes, special items from Grace teachers and students, and gift certificates for restaurants and other services. You can even bid on four reserved seats for the March 22 Bach Cantata Vespers performance of the Mass in B Minor. Tickets for A Graceful Evening are available online, at the reception desk, and in the atrium on Sunday morning. Ticket sales close at midnight on Sunday. (The ticket order page was offline earlier this week. It's working again!)

Benevolencepic.jpgBenevolence Fair

On Sunday representatives of many of our benevolence ministry partners will be in Fellowship Hall at 9:45 a.m. with information and displays about their work. Discover how they’re sharing the love of Christ in communities near and far and learn more about volunteer opportunities. Come for coffee, snacks and interesting conversations! Pick up a copy of the Benevolence/Social Ministry Handbook and read about all the organizations your offerings help to support. Hands Only CPR and AED training on Sunday

You have another opportunity this Sunday to learn and practice how to save a life with Hands Only CPR. Class will be held in the 7th and 8th grade science room at 12:15 p.m. No need to register. Contact Kim Ramos with questions (; 708-366-6900 ext. 263).

SNAP Fast special gifts

The youth have challenged all Grace members to participate in a SNAP Fast: a week of eating on a budget of $32 per person. This is the average amount provided by the government’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (i.e., food stamps) to help families pay for groceries. We have also asked members to consider a special gift to the Grace benevolence budget of either $32 or what you saved on groceries from participating in the SNAP Fast. The youth will be in the atrium on Sunday morning between services to answer your questions and collect your gifts.
