Open House for Parents on September 13, 6:30 p.m.

Parents of Grace students are invited to Open House on Monday, September 13, at 6:30 p.m. The evening begins in Fellowship Hall, led by Principal Kendall Grigg. Parents may then visit their children's classrooms for teacher presentations about curriculum, expectations, homework, and activities in the coming school year. It's a chance to meet parents of other Grace students and learn how you can support your child's learning at home. If you have specific questions about your child's needs in the classroom, please contact the teacher via email or phone.

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Routines

Children should be dropped off for school in the morning at the Bonnie Brae entrace. Parents should not park and leave their cars along Bonnie Brae, north of the Concordia driveway, before school, so that space continues to be available for cars dropping off students. If you need to get out of your car, please park further south on Division and Bonnie Brae intersection in the morning.

New Pick-Up Routines
At the 3:00 p.m. dismissal all students not taking the bus will exit and be picked up on Division Street. All students in grades 4 and below must be picked up by a parent or authorized adult. We will no longer permit children in these grades to meet their parents across the street or around the corner. Kindergartners will wait for parents inside the garden area. Grades 1 and 2 will wait on the sidewalk just west of the doors. Grades 3 and 4 will wait on the sidewalk to the east of the doors. If you need to cross the street to return to your car, please cross under the guidance of the crossing guard at the corner of Bonnie Brae and Division.

Parking in the Grace Neighborhood
Concordia University has changed its parking regulations. During the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., Grace faculty, staff and parents will no longer be permitted to use the Concordia parking garage or the parking lot between the garage and Grace's building. The University has advised us that they will begin ticketing and/or towing cars in violation of their guidelines. Daytime street parking is available on Bonnie Brae and on Division. Parking is also available on the west side of the Priory Park lot on the north side of Division. Please read signs carefullyas there may be some restrictions.
