Afternoon pickup:  Beginning Monday we will be moving afternoon pick-up to the Bonnie Brae doors.  The procedure will not change.  Parents need to park and meet their students on the sidewalk outside of the school.

Enrollment for 2016-17:  By now you should have received enrollment information in the mail.  If not, please contact the school office immediately.  Remember that the enrollment period exclusively for returning students and church members ends January 31.   In February we open enrollment to new families.  With so many classes at or near capacity, it is important for you to return your enrollment forms, enrollment fee, and pledge form by next Friday.

Lutheran Schools Week:  Next week we join many schools across the country in celebrating Lutheran Schools Week.  Please check out the weekly calendar below for special dress-up days and activities for the week.

Dear Grace Church and School Parents of Fourth and Fifth Graders,

Your child is invited to participate in 1st Communion instruction classes this spring. Pastor led classes begin after Easter this year, on Sundays from April 10 through May 8 (9:45-10:45am). First Communion will take place on May 15.  The age for first communion instruction is changing from fifth grade to fourth, so this year's class will include both fourth and fifth graders. Children this age who already commune are invited and encouraged to participate in the class along with their peers.

Please email me if you would like to register your child/children for 1st Communion Instruction. Further details will be emailed in early March.

Blessings,

Julie Modrich, Children's Ministry Coordinator
