Enrollment: We had a large turnout on Wednesday for our Open House.  More than 30 prospective families were in attendance to check out our school.  This is a reminder that Re-enrollment for current families exclusively runs through the end of January.  After that we will begin to open up enrollment to new families.  Please return your paperwork and enrollment fee to Mrs. Maggio by Tuesday of next week.  If you need a new copy of the paperwork, contact Mrs. Maggio.

Parent-Teacher Conferences:  Our second round of Parent-Teacher conferences are on Thursday, February 2nd.  Conferences will be held in classrooms, not Fellowship Hall.  Conferences for students in PK-4th grade have been scheduled.  If you have not received your scheduled time, contact your teacher.  Since students in Grades 5-8 have many teachers, conferences for these students have not been scheduled but instead are on a drop-in basis, enabling parents to meet with all of their children’s teachers.  All teachers in Grades 5-8, including teachers of art, music, PE, technology, and German will be available from 1:00-5:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm.  Parents of students in PK-4 are also welcome to drop-in and meet with these teachers.  We will have a survey available on Thursday night in order to gain feedback on this style for conferences.

Save the date: Friday, February 24 for the Daddy Daughter dance.  Invitations will be included in next week’s Tuesday folder.

There are two pairs of children’s glasses at the school office.  One was found outside in front of the school several days ago and the second pair was found in Fellowship Hall after the talent show rehearsal.  If your child is missing glasses, please have them check with Eileen Maggio.

Friday, January 27, 7pm, Grace Fellowship Hall: Come to the Sharing our Talents Show and see Grace kids show us their talent!  They have been working hard and it's sure to be a fun show. See invite here.

Is your child participating in Read to Succeed? Six hours of reading can earn SK-6th graders a free ticket to Great America. Student reading logs are due Wednesday, February 1.

The Cook County Forest Preserves will be hosting Winter Exploration Days on February 11, 2017 from Noon to 4pm at Thatcher Woods (located at 8030 W. Chicago Ave.).
