We have some great news to share concerning our athletic teams.  Congratulations to the girls cross-country team for finishing 3rd at last week’s Lutheran Sports Association State Cross-Country Meet.  Zawadi Brown and Nicole Virzi claimed All-State honors by finishing in the top 15.  In the boys division, Paxton Ferencak and Owen Augustine earned All-State honors while leading the boys team to a 5th place finish.  Both teams have qualified for the Lutheran School National Meet tomorrow in Mequon, WI.  Results can be found online at www.cuw.edu/ccnationalmeet.  Good luck at Nationals!

We also received word this week that our boys volleyball team will be competing in the LSA State Tournament in Springfield, IL on the weekend of November 4-6.  Congratulations to Coach Slechta and the boys team on this accomplishment.  Good luck at State!

If anyone has an oak tree in their neighborhood, the art department could use a supply of acorns.  Thank you.
