October 30, 2015
Our character education goal this past week was Caring. I have seen caring in action as our students interact with each other and speak with each other. Their care for others is also evident in contributions to those in need. On Monday, the 3rd graders announced the start of our Thanksgiving “Soup Can” Food Drive for Harmony Church in the Lawndale community. We already have over 50 cans collected. On Wednesday, our chapel offering collected more than $100. This also is going to the Food Pantry at Harmony. You can continue to send in soup cans until November 11 and contribute with chapel offerings through the end of December. Thanks for caring for others.
