- Today is the last day of our first trimester. Parents of students in Grades SK-8 should look for report cards in the mail towards the end of next week.
- Please join us next Friday for the A Taste for Grace Wine Event, our first event leading up to A Graceful Evening. Details on the event can be found below.
- A reminder that our food drive for local food pantries ends next Friday. Your students may bring can goods or other non-perishable food items to their classroom any day next week.

All are welcome to join us on Sunday, November 13 at 10:00 a.m. for a special church service during which we will officially install Rev. Lauren Wegner and Rev. Dave Wegner as Associate Pastors at Grace Lutheran Church. The 5th-8th grade choir will sing. A Graceful Evening Needs Your Help
A Graceful Evening is the school's biggest fundraiser of the year and we're trying to make it the best one yet, so we need your help!
Donations- We are looking for anyone who is willing to help or donate toward (all individuals or companies would be eligible for ads and other recognition): Centerpieces, DJ for the after party, music for the cocktail hour, printing for programs/invitations, wine/beer/liquor, desserts and photography. Christmas Eve forms are due. Please turn in your child’s Christmas Eve Service participation form on Monday if you have not already done so. The link to the form is here.
The next Scrip Order will be placed on Tuesday, November 15. Please turn in any orders to the school office by the end of the day Monday, November 14. The order form can be found here.
Congratulations to the boys volleyball team on their 8th place finish at the LSA State Volleyball Tournament last weekend.
Daddy Daughter Dance planning starts soon and We Want You!! We need a couple of parents to team up to plan this fun event! We already have volunteers lined up to help. The 3-4 Choir will sing for Shabbat at West Suburban Temple Friday, November 18. All family members and friends are welcome to attend. Students will meet at the temple (1040 North Harlem Ave. at Thomas) at 6:00 p.m. to rehearse. Children should wear white on top and dark on the bottom. The service begins at 6:30 p.m. and will be preceeded by an informal talk about Shabbat at 6:20. The service will last approximately 1 hour. If you do not plan to stay for the service, please meet your child inside the main entrance of the temple at 7:30 p.m. Dinner immediately follows the service and will last approximately one hour. If you plan to stay for the meal but have not signed up, contact Janel Dennen immediately at .
