November 13, 2015

Congratulations and thank you to all of our families that contributed soup for the Harmony food pantry.  When the soup drive ended on Wednesday, we had more than 300 cans!  The 8th grade class continues to collect food cans of any type.  If you wish to donate, have your students bring in a can on any chapel day.

Chapel offerings for the first half of the year have also been designated for the Harmony food pantry.  Our total currently stands at $1150.  We have five chapel services left until Christmas.  Can we get to $1750?  Thanks for your generosity towards this worthy cause.

Great Lakes Scrip Center offers gift cards from over 600 retailers, who donate 1.25 to 50% of the value back to the school. Look at the extensive list of participating retailers, decide which gift cards you can use, and submit your Scrip order form to Eileen Maggio in the school office with payment by cash or check. Consider using Scrip for regular purchases of gas or groceries, for major purchases at stores such as Best Buy, Sears and Target, and for online shopping at Amazon and iTunes. Scrip allows Grace School to benefit from money families plan to spend every week. The next order for Scrip cards will be placed on Tuesday, November 17.

In these days of cool mornings and warm afternoons, jackets are often left on the playground and end up in the Lost and Found.  Please make sure that your child’s name is marked on jackets and lunchboxes.  Thank you.
