I am so impressed with the generosity of our students and parents.  This year we have been collecting chapel offerings for Refugee One, and as of this week our total is over $1200.  A few weeks ago Grades 1, 2, 5, & 6 collected items used in welcome kits for families served by Refugee One.  The teachers were hoping for enough donations to complete four kits, we ended up making eight.  We also recently had a pizza lunch fundraiser that allowed us to complete 70 Christmas stockings filled with assorted items for recipients served by Night Ministry, an organization serving homeless and others in need.  Thank you to everyone who contributed to one or more of these efforts.  Your generosity is inspiring.  If you are looking for one last opportunity before Christmas to give to kids in need, check out the note below regarding Christmas Eve gifts.  Thank you!!!

Each year the Christmas Eve service includes gifts brought forward by our students.  This year the socks, hats, gloves and scarves donated by Grace families will be sent to students at Monument Academy, a week day boarding school in Washington, DC that serves 5th & 6th grade children affected by poverty and the foster care system.  Sizes needed include child M – adult L.  We learned about this school from Anna Scudiero, Grace School Class of 2008, who currently works there.   Please bring your unwrapped gift by Monday, December 19.

Due to the anticipated snowfall, today’s 5th & 6th grade basketball games have been canceled.

All items that are in Lost and Found will be put out on tables from Monday morning to the end of day Thursday.  The tables will be in the hall near the school office.  Please take a few moments to check for any of your children’s belongings.

A Graceful Evening Wine Donation- We are on our way with collecting bottles of wine for the Graceful Evening Wine Pull, but we still need more!  You can turn in your bottles valued $20 or higher (red, white, rose or bubbly - we take them all) to the front desk at anytime and you can find the forms there to fill out.  Thanks in advance!

Concessions- Basketball Games have started and we’d like to sell snacks to our hungry fans!  Please contact Esther Armstrong if you are willing to help sell at a game or two this season.  It’s an easy way to volunteer and still enjoy the game!
