Here are some notes regarding the children’s Christmas Eve services:

-          The church and school will not be open until 3:00 on Christmas Eve

-          For information on entering and leaving the services, check here.

-          Classrooms will open at 3:45.  Students arriving earlier should stay with their families until this time.

-          Students in the 4:15 service should arrive at 3:45, students in the 6:00 service should arrive at 5:30

-          Children in grades 1-4 are asked to wear dress clothes.

-           Students in grades 1-4 need to report to their classroom.

-          After the service parents of students in Grades 1-4 must pick them up in their classrooms.

-          Singers in grades 5-8 will wear robes and comfortable dress shoes.

-          Singers and ringers in Grades 5-8 report to the robe room, pageant participants report to the sacristy.

-          Students in Grades 5-8 participating in both services should go to Fellowship Hall between services for a snack.  Students in Grades 1-4    participating in both services will have a snack brought to their classroom.

-          Students not involved in the Christmas Eve services are excused from school on Wednesday, Dec 23.

Rehearsals are going well and it is shaping up to be another memorable worship service, a blessing to all in attendance.  O Come let us adore Him! O Come let us adore Him! O Come let us adore Him! Christ, the Lord!

Need to Relax?  If music helps you relax during this hectic time of the year, click here to listen to the Grace School Senior Orchestra play Pachelbel’s Canon.  This is a very talented group.  You will not be disappointed.

The Senior Kindergartens are building an igloo!!  Please bring clean gallon milk or water jugs and put into the box outside of the Sr. Kindergarten classroom. 

Graceful Evening Wine Pull Donations
While you’re decking the halls and catching up with family and friends during the holidays, if you find yourself with extra bottles of wine that need a home please consider donating to the Graceful Evening Wine Pull.  Bottles of wine valued $20 or greater warmly received (well, actually, stored with thoughtful temperature control until the auction).  Donations can be turned into the Grace front desk. 

From Mrs. Hammer-   We are in need of several items that may turn up around the home with frequency during the next month or so. Please review our list of needed items before cleaning out your closets or recycling.

*Unused burlap

*Buttons – any kind

*Scrapbook paper – any kind

*Clean empty peanut butter or jelly jars with lids– glass or plastic

  (these are used for both art projects and storage)


Save the Date: GPO All School Chili Cook Off- Friday evening, January 22. Save the date and get your chili recipes ready for a fun family night out at Grace. Prizes will be awarded for the best chili!  Watch the Principal Notes in early January for details. Childcare will be available.


All fees for Pre-Kindergarten, PM Kindergarten and daycare are due by December 20.  Fees can be paid by check or credit card to the school office or with the Online Giving button on the Grace website.

 Fees cannot be paid through The City.  Please take care of all outstanding fees before dismissal for Christmas break on December 23.


New candle lights for the cross this year means we have about 100 used C batteries. A bin full of these used batteries will be placed at the school office. Students and parents may help themselves.
