Each year the Christmas Eve service includes gifts brought forward by our students.  This year the socks, hats, gloves and scarves donated by Grace families will be sent to students at Monument Academy, a week day boarding school in Washington, DC that serves 5th & 6th grade children affected by poverty and the foster care system.  Sizes needed include child M – adult L.  We learned about this school from Anna Scudiero, Grace School Class of 2008, who currently works there.   If you would like to donate, please bring your unwrapped gift by Monday, December 19.

Scrip Orders will be placed on Tuesday, December 13.  Great Lakes Scrip Center offers gift cards from over 600 retailers, who donate 1.25 to 50% of the value back to the school. Look at the extensive list of participating retailers, decide which gift cards you can use, and submit your Scrip order form to Eileen Maggio in the school office with payment by cash or check by Monday December 12.   Cards will be received in time for Christmas. Consider using Scrip for regular purchases of gas or groceries, for major purchases at stores such as Best Buy, Sears and Target, and for online shopping at Amazon and iTunes. Scrip allows Grace School to benefit from money families plan to spend every week.

If you would like to contribute a monetary Christmas gift to the Grace faculty and staff, the form can be found here.  Deadline for contributing to this is next Friday, December 16.  Gifts must be cash.  Thank you.

A Graceful Evening Wine Donation- We are on our way with collecting bottles of wine for the Graceful Evening Wine Pull, but we still need more!  You can turn in your bottles valued $20 or higher (red, white, rose or bubbly - we take them all) to the front desk at anytime and you can find the forms there to fill out.  Thanks in advance!

The TALENT SHOW is coming!!!  This year’s GPO sponsored Talent Show is in January!  Young budding artists, grades 3-8, should start getting their creative juices flowing.   We look forward to showcasing any type of talent that your student wants to perform…singing, dancing, gymnastics, instrument playing, joke telling, magic tricks, poem reciting, you name it.  Both group and solo acts are encouraged.  And we know…..Grace has Got Talent….. so get ready to share it!  Sign ups are due 12/16 and are available here and at Mrs. Maggio’s desk.
