Our celebration of Lutheran Schools Week begins on Monday with an all-student photo (please wear red or white) and a special lunch provided by the school.  The menu includes pasta with marinara or meat sauce, bread, apples, and a cookie.  Students are welcome to bring their own lunch if they wish.

A Graceful Evening is just one week away.  Tickets remain on sale through Sunday only, so don’t delay.  We hope you can join us for this wonderful event that celebrates and supports Grace Lutheran School.  With almost $20,000 in sponsorships and an additional $15,000 already given for the Fund-a-Need, we are off to an amazing start.  Check out some of the student projects which will be auctioned off, they are in the display case across from the school office.

Fund-A-Need During Lutheran Schools Week

Next week is Lutheran Schools Week at Grace.  You have all gotten information about the fun activities each day, but during the week we will also be raising money for the Fund-A-Need portion of A Graceful Evening!  If your child hasn't already told you, ask him/her about chapel on Wednesday, they're sure to tell you about the excitement, and the amazing performance by 4th grader, Charles Stark.  The Fund-A-Need initiative this year is for Fine Arts items.  These items will touch every single student at the school and will enhance the well-rounded education they receive at Grace.  We have already had several donations, but now it's the kids' turn.  Last year they helped "Beaker Fill the Beaker," this year our theme is "MAY THE FINE ARTS BE WITH YOU," and there will be a spirited competition between classes to raise the most money.  Last year (our first year doing this) the kids completely surprised us by raising $500 in just one week, so this year we actually gave them a goal of $600.  If the goal is met, everyone in the school will get a treat on Friday.  The class that raises the most will get an additional treat AND the opportunity to throw paint-filled balloons at a canvas as well so that class can design their own work of art!  Start collecting your coins now!

Lutheran Schools Week is being celebrated at Grace next week.  Each day will feature a special type of dress for students and a special activity during the day.  Check out this link for dress up and activity information.
