VBS this Summer! – June 20-23 - Send your kids on an over-the-top underground adventure! Grace Lutheran Church and School, along with Village Church of Oak Park, will host Cave Quest VBS, where kids explore the rock-solid foundation of Jesus’ love. Cave Quest VBS is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, touch, and even taste! Science fun, team-building games, cool Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the standout activities that help faith flow into real life. (Since everything is hands-on, kids might get a little messy. Be sure to send them in play clothes and safe shoes.) Plus, we’ll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life—something we call God Sightings. Get ready to hear that phrase a lot! Your kids will also participate in a hands-on mission project, through a program called Operation Kid-to-Kid™ that will let the kids in our community show God’s mighty love to needy kids in the United States. Parents, grandparents, and friends are invited to join us at Cave Quest Closing on Thursday at 7:45pm, to celebrate Jesus—the light of the world!
The fun starts at 5:30pm with supper and will end at 8:00pm.
Registration will open in April! Make sure you register your children for this life-changing adventure! Please email Julie Modrich with any questions.
A request from Mrs. Hammer- If anyone has any Styrofoam egg cartons to donate, they are needed for an art project. Thank you
The next SCRIP order will be placed on Tuesday, April 19. Please turn your order form, found here, into the school office by end of the day Monday, April 18. Consider using Scrip for regular purchases of gas or groceries, for major purchases at stores such as Best Buy, Sears and Target, and for online shopping at Amazon and iTunes. Scrip allows Grace School to benefit from money families plan to spend every week.
Junior High parents- Costume information is posted on Ms. Gotsch’s blog (msgotsch.blogspot.com) along with a list of props and odds and ends that we are looking for. Please take a look.
