May 6, 2016
On Wednesday, we launched the 2016 Walk with Grace school walkathon. If you did not receive the information from your student, you can find it all here. Please consider who you can ask to make a pledge. If all of our families get involved, even in a small way, we can reach our goal of raising $25,000 to help fund our outstanding programming. Thanks for your help in making Grace a special place and this walkathon a successful event!
If you have nothing on your schedule tonight, be our guest for the 7th & 8th grade production of Beauty & the Beast, 7:00pm in Fellowship Hall. You will be impressed.

VBS this Summer! – June 20-23 - Send your kids on an over-the-top underground adventure! Grace Lutheran Church and School, along with Village Church of Oak Park, will host Cave Quest VBS, where kids explore the rock-solid foundation of Jesus’ love. Cave Quest VBS is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, touch, and even taste! Science fun, team-building games, cool Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the standout activities that help faith flow into real life. (Since everything is hands-on, kids might get a little messy. Be sure to send them in play clothes and safe shoes.) Plus, we’ll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life—something we call God Sightings. Get ready to hear that phrase a lot! Your kids will also participate in a hands-on mission project, through a program called Operation Kid-to-Kid™ that will let the kids in our community show God’s mighty love to needy kids in the United States. Parents, grandparents, and friends are invited to join us at Cave Quest Closing on Thursday at 7:45pm, to celebrate Jesus—the light of the world!
The fun starts at 5:30pm with supper and will end at 8:00pm.
Registration will open in April! Make sure you register your children for this life-changing adventure! Please email Julie Modrich with any questions.
The final SCRIP order of the school year will be placed on Tuesday, May 17. The order form can be found here.
