As you may recall, last year Grace School moved to using MAP testing. The MAP test is a standardized test alternative to the Terra Nova tests that we took in the past. The benefits of using the MAP test include less time needed to do standardized testing, and with three sessions during the year, it allows us to measure growth of our students throughout the year. MAP testing will begin next week for students in Grades 2-8. Use the Parent Letter link to read more about MAP tests and use the September MAP schedule link to find out when your child is scheduled to test over the next two weeks. Math tests are scheduled during their math period, while Reading and Language Usage tests are scheduled during language arts periods. We ask that you to make sure your child gets good rest and eats a healthy breakfast on their testing days, and encourage them to do their best. Results will be available at the October 6th Parent-Teacher Conferences.
