Our first Parent-Teacher Conference takes place next Thursday, October 6, in Fellowship Hall. You should have received word by the end of the day today from your child’s teacher stating the time of your conference. If you have not received it, please email your teacher for this information. The schedule is tight, so being on time is important to have a full 15 minutes for your meeting.
The first Parent Prayer Group meeting is Tuesday, October 4, 7:45-8:15 a.m. in the Conference Room at Grace. Come join other parents and faculty as we pray for our students and the school. Come when you can, leave when you must. We hope to see you there.

Tickets will be on sale in the atrium on Sunday morning ($15 adults, $8 children age 5-11, children under five are free). Ticket prices at the door are $20 for adults (age 12 and up) and $10 for children ages 5 to 11. Children under 5 years of age are free. For more information go to this link.
It takes a lot of volunteers to make Oktoberfest run smoothly. Contact Dan Krout (email@example.com) or Don Heimburger () if you'd like to help out at the Saturday decoration party, with cooking or with clean-up. If you can, please stay a few minutes longer as Oktoberfest ends and help take down tables and chairs
Lantern Parade- If your child will be marching and singing in Sunday's Oktoberfest "Laterne" parade, please consider lending a hand. Thus far no one has responded to Frau Zielinski's requests for assistance. With 40 fragile paper lanterns to set up, illuminate, disassemble and repack, along with lining up and supervising the marchers/singers themselves, the job can't be handled by one person. If you are able to help, please let Mrs. Zielinski know by email at or see her near Mrs. Maggio's desk before or after the parade. Assistants will have time to return to their tables to watch the kids march and, with many hands to help, disassembling and repacking the lanterns should go quickly. Your help is deeply appreciated!
Parent Teacher conferences will be in Fellowship Hall on Thursday, October 6. For parents needing childcare, please take you children to the extended daycare room, next to Jr. Kindergarten. There is no charge, but your child must be signed in and out. The school book fair will be held in the Atrium at the Bonnie Brae entrance starting at 1:00 p.m.
Lost and Found items will be set out on tables near the school office. Please check for any items that may belong to your child.
The direct line to the school office is 708-366-6901. To report an absence or any other school related questions, please call that number directly. Thank you.
Attention Grace mothers and daughters! The GPO is hosting a Mother & Daughter painting party on Friday evening, October 14th. Invitations were sent home in Tuesday folders and are available here.
We will not be able to accommodate late RSVP’s or walk-ins as we need to have accurate numbers to purchase supplies. If you have any questions, please contact Esther Armstrong at or Becky Morgan at . Hope to see you there!
