When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars you have set in their courses,
what is man that you should be mindful of him, the son of man that you should seek him out?
You have made him but little lower than the angels, you adorn him with glory and honor. Psalm 8:5-6
“Like others in the Grace community, we have our own stories of grace,” said Ed Mason, congregation vice-president, in a Mission Moment during last Sunday’s worship service. He spoke for himself, his wife, Ann, and their three sons. They joined the Grace community almost 20 years ago, first as a Grace School family, then as congregation members. “Grace has been a great blessing for us.”
He went on to remind us that “Grace’s ministry doesn’t happen by itself.” The Holy Spirit is at work among us, and Grace’s ministries of worship, education, support and service depend on the “gifts and giving” of our talents, time, and resources.
Grace’s fiscal year ends on June 30. We need to raise $450,000 during the month of June to pay this fiscal year’s budgeted expenses.
“This is an achievable goal,” said Ed, “if we accomplish it together.”
Please consider making a special gift to Grace Church as we near the end of our fiscal year on June 30. Sacrificial gifts, small and large, from every member of Grace, support the “stories of grace” that are signs of God’s blessings on our church community.
