Unit Organizations

The grades are organized according to the following units:

• Junior and Senior Kindergarten
• Grades 1 and 2
• Grades 3 and 4
• Grades 5 and 6
• Grades 7 and 8

In order to meet each child's individual needs, he or she will have opportunities to work individually, in small groups or as a member of the whole group. Ability or interests determine some groups. Resource teachers support and enhance instruction.

Unit teachers work as a team in the setting goals and activities. Parent volunteers and aides assist in particular units.
